The RE2 remake has a DLC that brings back the original 1998 soundtrack (including gameplay sounds), but even though I love it I want to hear your opinions before deciding to buy it. Does it fit the game properly or does it feel out of place?
"I don't think anyone objects to the fact that gameplay is fun"
I do
They shouldn't have made him Wesker's son. Just a random guy who is resistant to the C-Virus.
Milla Jojović
That's a...very limited list.
Why remake RE4? The amount of re-releases and the fact people are still playing it a lot and discovering new things (someone discovered an easter egg about one or two years ago) proves the game is already good enough and doesn't need an "Ultimate 4K VR RE Engine HD Remastered Remade Edition".
The evolved licker is canon. It appears in RE Survivor.
Thanks for the replies; I'm really looking forward to getting this DLC.

In this discussion - projectumbrella.net/forum/UmbrellaGerman-Connection - Welsh said there's "A picture in the private residence of what appears to be an SS officer."
Can anyone confirm this (with a screenshot, if possible)? I tried to find it but failed. Maybe I didn't pay enough attention or maybe it's because all paintings in the wall are very pixelated. Anyway, none of them seemed to represent something like that.
I don't think Ashley is as annoying as people pretend she is. The most annoying character (other than Alice, which doesn't count) is probably the Queen Leech and maybe Jessica. I actually think Sheva is a good character, but her participation in gameplay is awful, and Morpheus Duvall is a lame villain that becomes a very annoying monster.
The one about Adam Benford doesn't make sense, but I agree with some of the other, especially the last two. By the way, Christine Henry being mentioned would probably require the presence of N64 files in the remake, which I absolutely support. A camera recording of Jill is a good idea, but Nemesis appearing might make players expect the same to happen during the gameplay, which is not going to happen.

I agree with 2, 3, 5, and kinda agree with 4.

2. I think you have to ignore all games without numbers to say RE6 is the most underrated. Many people that play Resident Evil don't even know about Code Veronica, Outbreak, the Chronicles, Revelations, etc.
3. Not sure about RE7 being so overrated. RE4 will continue to be more popular I suppose.
10. The teamwork in RE5 ruined that game's chance to be as good as RE4 IMO. Without Sheva, the horror would have been much more intense. And they should have put the hallucinations in the game.
12. A few of them are quite mediocre.
16. IMO RE7 is superior to RE6 in every aspect maybe except the connection with other games in the series.
17. The plot would be much more believable without an Ada clone.
21. Yes. Maybe make it similar to RE7 when it comes to gameplay.
25. The best thing about Rachael Ooze is her voice, not the appearance.
27. Yes. And this makes those games difficult to casual players, which explains a lot about the bad reception. That's also more realistic.
34. That's one of the things that make RE4 so memorable.
35. That's even worse in RE0. A lot was lost in the translation (which is censored).
36. Finally. Yes, all of them have it, but many lack a significant level of terror.
...and the existence of the dream is canon

I found Umbrella Corps to be more enjoyable than ORC
Operation Raccoon City. It not only has nothing to do with the rest of the series, but also fails to do it's job: being a fun action game. It's boring and annoying, and has absolutely nothing memorable, relevant, or interesting.
