"8-round capacity .44 AE MAG. Its gas-operated action, which is unusual for a semi-auto handgun, gives it both power and accuracy." — Inventory description |
.44 AE Lightning Hawk is a weapon in Resident Evil 3.
Location
Making yet another return since Resident Evil 5, the Lightning Hawk is found in the hospital as an optional weapon after regaining control of Jill. Head to the 2nd floor and fight past a Hunter, then crawl under a barricade of hospital beds that leads to a broken window. Jump down into the courtyard and claim the weapon.
Gameplay
The Lightning Hawk deals heavy damage and is often a one-hit kill weapon against non-boss enemies, especially on lower difficulties. The recoil can be decreased by equipping the weapon with the extended barrel.
