• The H1N1 infuenza pandemic reaches an isolated mountain village in Eastern Europe, resulting in several deaths and severe side effects. Among the victims is Eva, a ten-year-old girl. Distraught by her daughter's death, Miranda, Eva's mother, embarks on a journey north with the intention of ending her own life. However, she stumbles upon the Black God in a cave. When she returns, she has undergone a mutation and possesses the ability to cure the villagers of the flu and its associated symptoms, including pneumonia.
