  • As a result of three years of solid research on the t-virus, research at the Arklay facility moves into the second stage.[1]
  • The virus becomes stable enough and the first zombies are created as a result. However, the virus can only infect 90% of the population. Spencer is disappointed by this and wants a virus that can wipe out an entire population.[citation needed]
