Tokyo Game Show 2002 exterior

Tokyo Game Show 2002 (東京 (とうきょう)ゲームショウ2002 tōkyō gēmushou 2002?) (abbreviated as TGS 2002) was a gaming convention in Tokyo's Nippon Convention Center, held over the weekend from 20–22 September 2002.[1] It was the first TGS to be held only once per year.

Events[]

At the Capcom booth, footage of Resident Evil 0, Clock Tower 3 and Devil May Cry 2 was available for viewing along with other games. The booth sold various merchandise alongside Tokyo Phantom and Tokyo Marui,[2] with various clothes sold such as Resident Evil-themed banandas and the "S.T.A.R.S. T-shirt Ver.0".[3] A trailer for Resident Evil 4 was featured at TGS 2002, in what became known as its "Castle" development stage.[citation needed]
