A Glimpse of Truth (Kevin) is a cutscene in Resident Evil Outbreak File #2. It is played during the "flashback" scenario when playing as Kevin Ryman under certain conditions, and can be unlocked on the Collections menu for 500 points.[1]

Plot[]

With the Monster Plant killed, the abandoned hospital begins to collapse, killing Dr. Al Lester. Kevin Ryman reflects on his experience, having discovered the scandal which led to its closure.

Transcript[]

Al Lester: "So there you are my dear... my dear... dear Dorothy. I'll never leave your side again..."

Kevin Ryman: "Sometimes I think human beings are worse than animals. They put their own selfish needs ahead of the wellbeing of others. Not that I'm really any different. I'm always looking out for number one... myself!"

Al Lester: …ここにいたのか
ああ…ドロシー…
もう…離れないよ

Kevin Ryman: つくづく人間ってやつは自分勝手な生き物だ
他人の不幸を気遣うそぶりで傍観者を決め込む
かくいう俺自身がそうさ…割り切りの早さにウンザリするよ
