Resident Evil 2

Ada is playable briefly for two segments in Resident Evil 2 only in both of Leon's scenarios where she act as her partner: the first time is during the chase of Annette Birkin in the sewers and the second is when she must resolve the puzzle in order to get the Club Key. In her inventory in the first segment, Ada have a Handgun (which she can fire faster with than other characters), 45x Handgun bullets, a First Aid Spray, her photo with John Clemens as a personal item and eight spaces for items.

Extreme Battle

Ada is a unlockable character in the Extreme Battle minigame. She has the following items:

Resident Evil 4

Ada is playable in Resident Evil 4 in her own scenario: Separate Ways, which is unlocked by completing the main game with Leon. She is differ from him in that her running speed is faster and her melee attacks are different: her head melee attack is the "Fan Kick" and her leg attack is the "Back Kick". Ada also can use the Hookshot to reach areas that were impossible for Leon. She begins the game with the default size attache case, 5 bars of health and starts her inventory with a Blacktail, Shotgun, Handgun Ammo (x30), Shotgun Shells (x15) and First Aid Spray. Ada also cannot upgrade her weapons with the Merchant.

Successfully completing Separate Ways unlock the Chicago Typewriter for the main game and, additionally, the "Mafia" costume for Leon and a "Suit of Armor" for Ashley.

Assignment: Ada

Ada is again playable in this non-canon scenario. Ada must collecting a number of plaga samples which are marked on the player's map. The only enemies featured are Ganado militia, Gatling Man, and mutant Jack Krauser as the "boss" in the final area the player must defeat to get the last Plaga Sample. In this scenario, Ada wears a military-style uniform, starts the game with 6 & 2/4 Bars of health, has a slightly faster movement speed than Leon and starts her inventory with a Punisher, TMP, Rifle (semi-auto), Handgun Ammo (x30), TMP Ammo (x50), Rifle Ammo (x5), Hand Grenade, First Aid Spray and Scope (semi-auto Rifle). She does not have a knife in the Gamecube and PlayStation2 versions of the game, but does in all another ports, Ada have.

Beating the minigame will unlock the Chicago Typewriter for the main game in the Gamecube version while in all subsequent releases, the weapon unlocks for use in Separate Ways instead.

The Mercenaries

Ada is a unlockable character in the Resident Evil 4's minigame "The Mercenaries". She wears updated version her outfit from Resident Evil 2. Ada has the same assignments as in other scenarios where she is playable, however, compared to the other characters, she is the physically weakest mercenary, with only 6.5 bars of health, but she makes up for it with the best speed and decent firepower. Ada excels in long range combat, but once enemies close in, she is very vulnerable to attack. Ada also has lacks short range stopping power. As in Assignment: Ada, in the Gamecube and PS2 versions, she does not have a knife but does have one in all later ports starting.

  • Note: Ada's costume can be changed in the Wii and all later versions, by holding button/trigger combinations while in selection screen and then selecting,which will allow playing in her RE4 Dress or Spy costume. On Steam/Xbox 360, holding Y/TRIANGLE (PS3/4) will give you the Red Dress, holding RB/R1 (PS3/4) will give you Spy.

Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles

Ada is main playable character in the "Death's Door" scenario. She will start the stage with only a fraction of her health remaining and uses the Burst Handgun. Her melee attack involves her first preforming a somersault kick to knock her attacker off, then the fan-kick.

Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles

Although unplayable, Ada serves as Leon and Claire's support character during third, fifth and sixth chapters of the "Memories of a Lost City" scenario. Her handgun skin is based on the initial gun she had in the original Resident Evil 2.

Resident Evil 6

Campaign

Ada is featured in her own campaign in Resident Evil 6. During several segments the she must advance through areas undetected, therefore, Ada must use her Hookshot to advance during points in the campaign. Notably, her segment makes more use of puzzles than the other campaigns. She also is the only character that faces both J'avo and C-Virus Zombies. Her initial inventory consists the Ammo Box 50 and the Crossbow. Originally, Ada had no partner in her scenario, but since the release of an game update in December 17, 2012, "Agent" has been included to serve as her partner. This character does not appears in the games main plot due to him being only in this campaign for cooperative gameplay purposes.

Contexual Attack

Attack Description
Fan Kick (Light stun) Ada will perform a jumping roundhouse. It has a wide radius. This is most commonly performed on a lightly stunned enemy from any direction.
Hurricanrana (Front heavy stun) Ada will headlock the target's head with her legs and crush it against the floor, after that Ada will roll and return to her original position.
Head Buster (Back heavy stun) From behind the enemy, Ada will jump then grab the enemy with her legs and fiercely throw it to the ground.
Somersault (Coup de Grace) Ada will jump kick and flip.

The Mercenaries

Ada returns as a unlockable character in Resident Evil 6's mini game "The Mercenaries". Aside her default outfit, she has three alternate outfits called "EX-Costumes", each with a unique set of weapons.

Multiplayer

Ada is a playable character in all multiplayer DLC's in Resident Evil 6. She has same two outfits seen in The Mercenaries, each also with a unique set of weapons depending on the chosen mode.

Resident Evil 2 (remake)

Ada returns as a briefly playable character in Resident Evil 2 remake, during both of Leon's scenarios again, however, this time she is only playable during the chase of Annette in the sewers until incinerator. Unlike in the original game, Ada mainly revolves around using her hacking gadget, the EMF Visualizer to hack machinery in order to progress throughout her segment. She also starts in her inventory with a handgun Broom Hc and eight spaces for items.
