"A dog, watch out!" — Sheva and Chris witnessed a Adjule in transformation.
Adjule (アジュレ,ajure?) is the term given to canines parasitised by the Type-2 Plagas. The word is derived from the cryptid name for the African wild dog. Similar in nature to the Colmillos of Spain's Valdelobos, their chief difference is being able to open their heads to allow the parasite to consume prey. The Adjule spread in the Kijuju Autonomous Zone during the 2008-9 Islamist insurgency, though it is uncertain if they were intentionally parasitised to aid the rebels or were the natural result of the parasites' spread.
