Albert Wesker was the chairman of Umbrella, holding regular meetings from his office in Tokyo via hologram, and heading the Umbrella Commitee even during the Global T-virus outbreak.
Biography
Resident Evil: Extinction
He was constantly at odds with Dr. Isaacs, whose obsession with Project Alice threatened to compromise his appointed task: domesticating the undead. If his work did not show signs of improving, Wesker threatened to replace the doctor with someone more capable. Dr. Isaacs was not perturbed however, and continued to create enhanced zombies to hunt down and capture Alice, an operation that resulted in him being bitten by one of his creations. Having disobeyed direct orders and forged Wesker's authorization, the chairman ordered that he be "liquidated" immediately.
Isaacs' advanced infection transformed him into the first Tyrant however, and he killed everyone inside the Nevada facility. After Isaacs' death at her hands, Alice interrupted a conference between Wesker and the other facility leaders and promised him that she intended to come after him, and she'd be bringing her "friends" (her clones) along with her.

In the movie, Alice and her clones attack the Umbrella Headquarters in Tokyo and kill everyone in the facility. When alerted to the assault, Wesker orders that all upper levels be flooded with nerve gas to stem the tide of the clones, despite the many men who were still locked in combat with them. When a security officer points this out to him, Wesker simply shoots him with his Desert Eagle. Two clones are killed during an aerial assault on Wesker's command pod, both of them by his hands; one shot through the head mid fall, the other shot repeatedly in the chest at close range. The second died with two unpinned grenades in her hand, creating an explosion that badly burns Wesker and forces him to retreat to a helicopter to escape.
As he does, the clones try to shoot it down but its hull is bulletproof. As he ascends, Wesker activates a "Purge" bomb that destroys the facility and part of Tokyo and kills all of the clones. The real Alice is on board the helicopter however and holds a gun to his head, demanding he say his last words. Instead, Wesker quickly injects Alice with a serum that destroys the "t" cells in her body and renders her powerless. Wesker reveals that he has injected himself with the T-Virus too and displays super-human strength and speed, similar to Alice's former powers and easily overpowers her. Seconds from certain death, Alice thanks him for making her human again before the unpiloted helicopter crashes into a mountainside, seemingly killing Wesker but allowing Alice to climb out alive.
However, Wesker's new powers enable him to regenerate from his injuries and revive and he heads to the Umbrella ship Arcadia where he takes command and uses Umbrella's remaining satellites to track Alice. After sending The Executioner to kill her, Alice makes her way to the Arcadia in Los Angeles Harbor and discovers over 2000 humans held in stasis for testing. Upon releasing the survivors, Alice discovers two pods drenched in blood and follows a blood trail to Wesker who calls in two Plaga zombie dogs and an armed necrosing Bennett to hold her at bay. Wesker explains that the t-virus is starting to overtake him and believes that eating fresh human tissue will keep it at bay, which is why the Arcadia crew abandoned ship three days prior.
Wesker believes that feasting on Alice, who had adapted to the t-virus so well, will allow him to gain full control over himself. Alice tells him that she is "off the menu" and kicks a tray full of knives at Wesker, who dodges all but one, which grazes his right cheek. Before Wesker can retaliate he is stopped by Claire and Chris Redfield, prompting Alice to remind him that she promised to "bring a few friends with me" when she came to face him. Wesker removes his sunglasses, revealing his red cat-like eyes, and remarks "You should have brought more". Wesker battles Chris and Claire, but his super-strength and speed are too much for them and he traps them in holding tanks before turning back to Alice who has killed the dogs and disarmed Bennett.
Wesker produces several Plaga-like tentacles from his mouth and prepares to eat her, but she stabs a knife into his head, temporarily stunning him. Alice tries to retrieve her shotgun to finish the job, but Bennett gets there first but is stopped by K-Mart who knocks him out and tosses Alice the shotgun. Alice shoots Wesker in the head with it, blowing a huge hole in his skull, but not killing him due to his incredible regenerative abilities. Alice then frees Claire and Chris who unload their pistols into him, but he still survives and is trapped in the room with Bennett. Wesker regenerates from his wounds and kills (and presumably eats) Bennett before making his way to another chopper to escape. As he does, he activates another bomb that was placed on the Arcadia before discovering that Alice hid it on his chopper. The bomb detonates, destroying the helicopter.
Wesker's fate is uncertain as a parachute is seen in the distance falling away from the destruction.
Resident Evil Retribution
IGN announced that Milla JovovichMilla Jovovichrevealed on her Twitter account that Shawn Roberts will return to play the role of Albert Wesker once again.[1]
