The Attack on Tokyo Facility is an series of attacks led by Alice and her numerous clones on the global headquarters of Umbrella Corporation situated beneath Tokyo Square in Japan, which has now been repurposed into an hideout shelter from the Global T-Virus pandemic and led under the command of Chairman Albert Wesker.[1]

Background[]

Following the 2002 Global T-Virus pandemic and Tokyo outbreak from the result of reopening the HIVE. Most of its executive Umbrella members have turned the Tokyo facility into an shelter from the pandemic and used as the main headquarters where small meetings are held by Wesker with the other 8 heads of Umbrella's respective divisions including the head of North American branch facility Dr J. Issacs. Following his death and lost of all contact to the facility, Wesker orders all of its data to be transfer to Tokyo Branch where all of its research and experimentation are now under his supervision but Alice interrupts the meeting, promising that she will bring an few friends of hers over in her quest of bringing down the corporation.

Events[]

One year after the events of North American Facility incident, Alice and her clones manages to head over to Japan and infiltrates its underground facility with one of her clones murdering all of the snipers situated outside of Tokyo Square with their goals of keeping the Undead from breaching the expansive underground facility. Following their dispatch, all of the clones spread out to every corner of the facility with the real Alice hides herself in the V-22 Osprey located on the hanger. When alerted to the assault, Wesker orders all upper levels flooded with nerve gas to stem the tide of the clones, despite the many who were still locked in combat with them. When a security officer hesitates, Wesker shoots him with his Desert Eagle and inquires to any further questions against his order. The clones proceeds to take out large portion of Umbrella's guards with two of the clones eventually make their way to the control center where Wesker takes charge in defending the facility from the attack and dispatches all the commanders though one died midfall when one of the bullets hits her. The remaining clone is then killed in close range by Wesker, who had hid himself from the oncoming attack. Before dying, the clone detonates two explosive grenades, destroying the control center and the bottom levels of the facility but the wounded Wesker manages to escape and heads to the hanger where he boards the tiltrotor. The other 8 clones arrives at the hanger upon hearing the transportation about to take off, they tried to shoot it down to which no damage is made as the aircraft's outer layer are bulletproof. Upon reaching enough safe distance, Wesker detonates the facility which kills all the remaining Alice clones and leaves the facility along with large portions of Tokyo in an sinkhole.

Following his escape, the real Alice steps out from behind the aircraft and prepares to kill Wesker but due to his T-Virus enhanced abilities, he is able to inject Alice with an serum that neutralizes her T-cells abilities which causes Alice to lose her enhanced abilities. Wesker reveals that he has injected himself with the T-Virus and displays superhuman strength and speed similar to Alice's. He overpowers her and seconds from certain death. Though Wesker succeeds in killing the clones by blowing up much of Shibuya with him preparing to kill her. During their conversation, The aircraft loses its pilot with an distracted Wesker neglected to pull up the aircraft's altitude which causes the transport to crash straight into Aokigahara Forest but both of them managed to survive from the crash with Alice stumbling out of the wreckage and Wesker's new powers enable him to regenerate from his injuries with him disappearing from the site.

Aftermath[]

Following six months after the attack, Alice aboard on Fuji T-7 and heads to Alaska, hoping to meet up and reunite with Claire Redfield's convoy. Reaching an aeroplane graveyard, Alice recovers the Arcadia journal from the Umbrella helicopter Claire left in. Alice soon finds Claire Redfield alive, but under the control of a Scarab-shaped device which also causes amnesia. Alice then takes Claire with her south to Los Angeles, unaware they are being watched from Umbrella.
