Avan Tudor Jogia (born 9 February 1992 in Vancouver, British Columbia) is a Canadian actor cast known for playing Leon S. Kennedy in the 2021 series, Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City.[1] Jogia is the son of British parents Mike and Wendy Jogia, and shares English, Welsh, German and Gujarati heritage.
Career in brief[]
Jogia got into acting as a teenager, and became a regular in CW and Nickelodeon projects, such as Aliens in America and later Victorious where he played the major role of Beck Oliver. He also played the minor role of Ben Stark in Caprica, a child suicide bomber who died in the pilot and appeared once more later in the series.
In adulthood, Jogia began to appear more regularly in films, such as Zombieland: Double Tap where he played Berkeley. Not long after that film's release he was cast in the part of Leon S. Kennedy in Johannes Roberts' Resident Evil reboot film.
