BIOHAZARD NIGHT OF HEROES (バイオハザード™・ナイト・オブ・ヒーローズ baiohazādo naito Obu hīrōzu) is an upcoming Universal Studios Japan attraction, set to open from Friday 6 September to Monday 4 November 2024 in the New York section as part of the 2024 Halloween Horror Nights event.
An early invitation lottery was held to attend the event on 4 September 2024 via web application with Resident Evil Ambassador members having doulb the chance of being selected.[1] Along side the launch of the event, the Biohazard Night of Heroes commemorative campaign was held to promote the event on X.[2]

"You have stumbled into an abandoned Umbrella research facility. The lab, which produced B.O.W.s (Bio Organic Weapons), including viruses that infect humans and turn them into zombies, has become a lawless area infested with zombies and creatures. Will you be able to survive the hellish lab where you are attacked by a horde of Zombies and even more terrors together with Claire, Chris, Leon, and Jill who rushed to the scene?" |
The event itself lasts about 10 minutes and involves attendees standing in a designated area with the show being played out all around them live. While attendees wait in the queue line before entering, a radio announcement plays the message:
"Attention all citizens, due to the city wide outbreak, you are advised to take shelter at the Raccoon City Police Station." |
The event itself starts with Claire ushering attendees into the show area while telling them to avoid the zombies as she fires at them. Claire helps an actor playing a civilian as the zombies overwhelm the area until Chris and the BSAA arrive to assist. Soon Lickers and a Chainsaw Ganado attack, followed by Leon and Ada who arrives to battle them. Alarms start going off just before Jill races in to warn the rest Nemesis is approaching.
Nemesis pins down the heroes until Claire points out an Umbrella weapon in the facility they can use. Jill breaks away to recover it and finds its a rail gun that requires some time to charge. The rest cover Jill until she readies the weapon and destroys Nemesis. With the area secured, the heroes check that the attendees are okay and instruct them to continue forward and exit the event space.
Finnegan's Bar & Grill[]
The restaurant at the same venue, Finnegan's Bar & Grill, sold Resident Evil themed food starting on 4 September to coincide with the early access launch. The item included;
- Anti-bioterrorism unit "BSAA" plate - Pork ribs with BBQ sauce, Cajin fried chicken, bacon sandwich, mashed potatoes, chili con carne, and gumbo soup. Inspired by meals given to BSAA members.
- Chris Redfield Spiced Cola - Available as alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Comes with one of eight randomly selected event coasters.
- Jill Valentine lemon ginger ale - Available as alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Comes with one of eight randomly selected event coasters.
