BIO HAZARD 2 VOL.16 (Chinese: 生化危機2 VOL.16; Pinyin: Shēnghuà wéijī 2 VOL.16) is the sixteenth volume of a sixty-part manhua series published by the Hong Konger King's Foundation, and officially-licensed by Capcom. It was published on Satuday May 23, 1998.

BIO HAZARD 2 VOL.16 - page 9

The God brain takes over the man's body

An armoured special forces team enters the storeroom containing God's brain. It is soon revealed that the room has been boobytrapped, and zombies begin to rise up from below the flooring. God's brain latches itself onto one of the operatives, taking control of him parasitically. Outside, the BHST aid the police in eliminating the zombies. Leon activates his power sword, slashing at creatures around him.

Elsewhere, the stadium on the island begins a round of "Skateboard Fighting",[excerpt 1] pitting an armoured man named "Mad Cow" (Chinese: 狂牛; Pinyin: Kuáng niú) against a long-haired man named "Asura" (Chinese: 阿修羅; Pinyin: Āxiūluó), who has a cybernetic right arm. An effeminate man by the name of "Inzaghi" (Chinese: 恩沙基; Pinyin: Ēnshājī) watches the game from a skybox.

Leon uses his energy weapon.

At the start of the match, the two contestants hover around a bowl-shaped 'ring' on bladed boards. The object of the match becomes clear - they are to use the boards to evade their opponent, as well as use the blades to strike back. Mad Cow's and Asura's boards are ready to collide head-on, but a quick reflex from Asura allows him to lift up his opponent's board with his feet. This sends Mad Cow flying into the other side of the ring, smashing his back against the surface.

The end of the board game.

Mad Cow is able to continue fighting, however, and the match descends into punching each other from their boards. Mad Cow is able to grab hold of Asura, and forces his head against a whirling vortex comparable to a small volcano. Asura is sucked into it, but grabs hold of Mad Cow's helmet, throwing him into the vortex, too. Asura is thrown out as Mad Cow's board explodes. He has won the match.

After the game, Asura settles down at a club with his apparent girlfriend - the smuggler woman from VOL.15 ("地頭蟲") - sitting with her on the coach, rather than sharing a table like the other people. They continue talking for some time, the cybernetic Asura even bringing up the idea of having an artificial heart.[excerpt 2] She gets up to go. As he watches her, Asura suddenly starts feeling pain in his chest. He shambles his way to the restroom to treat it. In the mirror, he sees the Joker and God's newest host body looking back at him.

The Licker looms over the smuggler

The smuggler, meanwhile, has left outside and stands in an alleyway in the pouring rain. Becoming increasingly alarmed by a strange tapping noise, she takes out her pistol, but finds nothing in front of her. She is seemingly unaware right now that the Licker Hunter-Killer that escaped from the airport - wearing an American flag as a cape - is looming over her back. She feels its breath, and turns around to shoot it. Instead, she is hit by armed police who detain her under Chris' orders. The Licker, she sees, has disappeared and has left the US flag hanging loosely on its flagpole, again.
