Beardsley Castle was a large 500 year old castle located on the south side of Mount Wall on Gadiwell, a Scandinavian island in the North Sea with a single fishing village located on the opposite side of the mountain from the castle. It was here in a hidden lab that Umbrella Europe took part in an offshoot of the t-Virus Project that resulted in the creation of the Neo t-Virus and various B.O.W's. The director of the facility was Mylène Beardsley, 17th Countess Beardsley, who took up residence in the mansion above her ancestral castle. After a biohazard outbreak occurred during a party for visiting VIPs from various allied companies the castle was destroyed and most of the guests killed, with the disgraced Mylène herself dying shortly afterwards thus ending the Beardsley family for good.[1]
