Betrayal (裏切り, uragiri) is the sixth episode of BIO HAZARD DRAMA ALBUM ~The Doomed Raccoon City~ VOL.3, an eight part radio play series set during the Raccoon City Destruction Incident. Betrayal aired on Tuesday 17 February 1998 as part of the Nippon Cultural Broadcasting show, "Satake and Hayashibara's Lawless School". It followed the episode "Funeral".

Plot

The four run to a pier. Under closer inspection, George recognises a single-occupancy canoe, which Nancy suspects went downstream from a camp in the Arklay Mountains. Ken points a handgun at the group, declaring that he will be the one to take it out of the city. Ken demands they discard any remaining weapons, but George raises his shotgun at his brother. They begin punching one another and Nancy resorts to firing into the air to stop them; Ken takes this opportunity to run onto the canoe.

As the three watch Ken paddle away, Tom notices something moving in the water. George sees it too, moving towards the canoe. On closer inspection, the object resembles the fin of a very large fish; George realises it is a shark. Nancy explains that it is Neptune, a B.O.W. created by Umbrella. Ken sees the shark and fires at it four times; it does nothing and the shark rips the canoe in two. Ken screams out from the sinking canoe as the shark turns on him. Nancy collapses onto the boards, having been shot by one of Ken's bullets.

Scene 6: Dock - 船着場

George	「（がっかりして） 何でェ。 一人乗りのカヌーじゃねェか」	"(Disappointed) What? Isn't it a single-person canoe?"
Nancy	「アークレイ山のキャンプ地から流れて来たんだわきっと」	"It must have flowed from a camp in the Arklay Mountains."
George	「四人乗るのは無理だ。 クソッ」	"It's impossible for four people to ride. Shit."
	（SE） 途端、 ガシャッと撃鉄を上げる音。	(SE) Immediately, there is the sound of a hammer raising.
Nancy	「どう言うつもりケン。 私たちに拳銃向けて」	"What are you doing, Ken? You're pointing your pistol at us."
Ken	「このカヌーは、 俺が頂くってことさ」	"This canoe, this is mine."
Nancy	「何！？ 手前ェ一人で逃げ出すつもりか！？」	"What!? Are you planning on running away on your own!?"
Ken	「うるせェ！ 二人とも銃を捨てろ。川へ投げろとは言わねェ。 向こうへ投げるんだ」	"Shut up! Throw your guns away, both of you. Don't throw them in the river. Throw them over there."
Nancy	「ケン」	"Ken."
Ken	「早くしろ じゃないと撃つぞ！ 俺は本気なんだ」	"Hurry up or I'll shoot you! I'm serious."
George	「貴様…」	"You bastard…"
	（SE） ショットガンと拳銃を投げ捨てる音。	(SE) The sound of a shotgun and pistol being thrown away.
George	「アハ、 ハハハハ、 ざまァ見ろって言うんだ。やいジョージ、 さっき俺に何て言った。自分のことしか考えねェッて？そうさ。 そのどこが悪いんだ」	"Hahahaha, look at me. Hey George, what did you say to me? Only think about myself? Yes. What's wrong with that?"
Nancy	「ケン」	"Ken"
Ken	「俺たちには親もねェ、 ネグラもねェ。手前ェそう言ったじゃねェか。 世間から除け者にされて、 その俺たちが人のことを考えて生きて行けるって言うのか」	"We don't have parents, we don't have a crib. Didn't we just say that? When we're ostracized from the world, are you saying that we can live thinking about other people?"
George	「だから俺たちも見捨てて、 一人で逃げるのか」	"So you're going to abandon us too and run away on your own?"
Ken	「そうさ。 人なんか糞食らえだ。 手前ェだけいい思いすればいいんだよ。 ハハハ、 後で落とし前着けるだと。 そんなの行っていたら、 どうされるか分からねェからな。ここでえおさらばだ」	"That's right. You can't eat shit. You just have to think good things about yourself. Hahaha, you say we can settle things later. If you do that, you don't know what will happen to you."
George	「（低く） 言うことはそれだけかケン」	“(Lower) Is that all you have to say, Ken?”
Ken	「何？」	"What?"
Nancy	「手前ェ、 歌い過ぎだ！」	"Seriously, you're singing too much!"
	（SE） 次の瞬間、 ケンに襲いかかるジョージ。 ウワッとなるケン。	(SE) The next moment, George attacks Ken. Ken is surprised.
Ken	「くそッ！」	"Shit!"
George	「この野郎！」	"You bastard!"
	（SE） 激しく殴り合う二人。	(SE) Two people furiously punch each other.
Nancy	「やめて二人とも！」	"Stop it, you two!"
Tom	「ジョージ兄ちゃん！」	"George!"
	（SE） 殴り合いが続く。	(SE) Fighting continues.
Nancy	「ジョージ！ ケン！」	"George! Ken!"
	（SE） 瞬間、 ズガーン！ 銃声。	(SE) Moment, Zugaan! Gunshot.
Nancy	「ウウッナンシー…」	"Uwa-- Nancy..."
George	「ナンシー！」	"Nancy!"
Tom	「お姉ちゃん！」	"Sis!"
George	「ケン、 手前ェよくもナンシーを」	"Ken, take care of Nancy."
Ken	「（恐に） う、 うるせェ！」	"(In fear) Uh, Ugh!”
	（SE） ダッと走り去るケンの足音。	(SE) Sound of Ken's footsteps running away.
George	「大丈夫かナンシー！？」	“Are you okay Nancy!?”
Nancy	「（喘いで） え、 え、 ナンシー…」	"(Panting) Eh, eh, Nancy..."
Tom	「ケンがカヌーに乗って逃げて行くよ！」	"Ken is gonna run away in that canoe!"
George	「あのバカが」	"That idiot"
Nancy	「ちゃんと渡れるかしら。 流れが急なのに」	"I wonder if he can cross it properly. Even when the current is fast."
George	「お前ェ、 そんなことされても、 まだあいつのことを」	"Even after that you're still thinking about him!?."
Tom	「あッ！ 見て見て！ 水面に何かいる！」	"Ah! Look, look! What's on the surface of the water!"
George	「何だあれは！？ カヌーに近づいて行くぞ」	"What is that!? It's approaching the canoe."
Tom	「ヒレだよ。 何か大きな魚のヒレ」	"It's a fin. It's the fin of some big fish."
George	「（愕然として） 鮫だ。 鮫のヒレだ！」	"(Astonished) It's a shark. It's a shark fin!"
Tom	「そんな！ ここは河だよ。 鮫なんか…」	"How!? This is a river. Sharks..."
	（SE） 言いかけるのへ、 バシャン！ 水音。	(SE) To say something, Bashan! Water sound.
George	「アッ、 飛び上がった！ やっぱり鮫だ。でけェッ！」	"Ah, it jumped up! It is shark after all.
Nancy	「ネプチューンだわ！」	"It's Neptune!"
George	「ネプチューン！？」	"Neptune!?"
Nancy	「あれもアンブレラが作り出したモンスターよ！」	"It's another monster created by Umbrella!"
	（SE） 次の瞬間、 「ウワッ！」 ケンの絶叫。	(SE) The next moment, "Uwaa!" Ken screams.
George	「あッ、 カヌーに襲いかかった！」	"It's attacked the canoe!"
	（SE）ズガーン！ ズガーン！ 銃声。	(SE) Zugaan! Sugahn! Gunshot.
Tom	「ケンが必死に闘ってる！ （叫ぶ） 逃げてケン！ 逃げて！」	"Ken's fighting desperately! (Shouting) Run away Ken! Run away!"
	（SE） ザザザッ…ザバン！ズガーン！ ズガーン！ 銃声。バリバリッ！ 木の砕ける音。	(SE) Zazaza... Zaban! Sugahn! Sugahn! Gunshot. Crunchy! The sound of cracking wood.
George	「カヌーが半分食われた！ カヌーが沈む。 ケーン！」	"It's eaten half the canoe! The canoe's sinking. Ken!"
	（SE） 次の瞬間、 「ウワーッ！」 ケンの凄まじい絶叫が響き渡る。	(SE) The next moment, "Uwaa!!", Ken's terrifying scream echoes.
George	「ケンが鮫に食べられた！」	"Ken's been eaten by a shark!"
Tom	「ケン！」	"Ken!"
	やがて静寂が戻る。	Silence soon returns.
Tom	「（泣きながら） お姉ちゃん… ケンが… ケンが鮫に食べられちゃったよ」	“(Crying) Sis… Ken… Ken was eaten by a shark.”
Nancy	「（喘いで） ト、 トム…」	"(Panting) Tom..."
	（SE） 崩れるように、 ドサッと桟橋にナンシーが倒れる音。	(SE) The sound of Nancy collapsing on the pier with a thud.
Tom	「どうしたのお姉ちゃん！？ ジョージ兄ちゃん、 お姉ちゃんが倒れた！」	"What's wrong, big sister!? Big brother George, big sister's collapsed!"
George	「ナンシー！ （ハッとなり） 腹が血で真っ赤だ。 さっきのケンの拳銃で」	“Nancy! Her belly's red with blood. From Ken's pistol earlier."
Tom	「お姉ちゃん！ いやだよ。 死んじゃいやだよお姉ちゃーん！」	"Big sister! No, I don't want you to die, Big sister!"
George	「ナンシーッ！」	"Nancy!"
	風が出て来て、 木々の葉が揺れていた	The wind is blowing and the leaves on the trees are shaking
