Betty was a nurse and member of Claire Redfield's convoy, portrayed by R&B superstar, Ashanti Douglas. Acting as a medic for the other survivors, Betty was a love interest for Lloyd Jefferson Wayne. Her weapon of choice was a Smith & Wesson 5946.
Death
During the crows' raid, Betty got inside Otto's school bus in order to help other survivors get to safety from the attacking crows, effectively getting most (if not all) survivors to safety, while Otto tried his best to hold them back from trying to get in from the windshield. Unfortunately, the crows finally managed to get through, pushing Otto out of the way and outside the bus, while Betty decided to lock herself in the bus to avoid the crows from getting to the others. She tried to gun down some of them but was quickly overwhelmed and killed by the infected crows swarming the convoy.
Trivia
Her death in the film may be a reference to Forest Speyer, who was similarly killed by crows in the games.
