KEYWORD OF biohazard (pp.4-5)
This section deals with keywords that are critical for understanding the story. There are four keywords listed: "S.T.A.R.S."; "Raccoon City"; "Umbrella", and "biohazard".
The "Raccoon City" keyword describes the city as having expanded rapidly since Umbrella moved into the region, with 30% of the population employed by its subsidiaries by 1998. Its northern areas are popular with tourists, including the mountains; Raccoon Forest and Victory Lake.[excerpt 1]
CHARACTER OF biohazard (pp.6-18)
The "Others" character list of secondary characters is notable in not featuring Kevin Dooley, the RPD pilot for S.T.A.R.S. Bravo Team. It does, however, have an entry for Edward Dewey, the only S.T.A.R.S. member not mentioned in the game.
