The Blue Herb was a plant native to the Arklay Mountains in the American midwest.[1] It was capable of producing a compound able to rid a number of weak-to-moderate doses of poisonous substances, though others such as the poison of an extremely mutated adder were far too powerful and would require their own medicine.
The herb was grown in and around nearby Raccoon City and was also grown around the world by Umbrella.
Trivia
- Some creatures, such as Yawn and Nosferatu, have venom so powerful that the Blue Herb doesn't work, and special serums must be used.
- Blue Herbs do not appear in Resident Evil 4 or 5, where they are replaced by red.
- George can use his chemical mix kit and make blue herbs into Recovery medicine, which will give the player 500 hp, same as the green herb.
