The Brain Sucker shares many of the Drain Deimos behaviour patterns and abilities. They are, however, slightly stronger and possess the ability to spit poison at their prey. They are known to feed on the brains of their victims using their lock tongues, unlike the Drain Deimos, which feed on cerebra-spinal fluid, hence their name. Their appearance is considerably more grotesque than their smaller cousins, possessing two heads and a musculature appearing to rip through their exoskeletons. These creatures are also capable of reproduction in the arthropodic form of egg-laying. Like other arthropods, Brain Sucker blood contains Hemocyanin, creating a green hue, as opposed to Hemoglobin's red.

Moveset
The Brain Sucker's attacks are comparable to its Drain Deimos counterpart, with the addition of releasing a poisonous substance on its prey when in close-range.

Strategy
The Brain Sucker can stand up to attack humans with its claws. It can also crawl on walls, turning combat into a three-dimensional format when in the city.

While a single handgun shot will cause them to fall down, they will quickly stand back up and attack the shooter. It is advised that the player avoid the Brain Sucker due to its poisonous abilities; these creatures can easily jump on prey from behind to begin this attack.

The Brain Sucker (ブレインサッカー burein-sakkā?) is the result of an arthropod suffering a secondary-infection from the t-Virus. It is a close relative of the Drain Deimos.[1]

History

These creatures were birthed from arthropods that had been infected some time during the Raccoon City Destruction Incident. They were seen inhabiting the Incineration Disposal Plant P-12A, which had been infested by the t-Virus even before the G-Virus capture mission which led to a widespread infestation of the city.
