As part of their testing on the T-virus, the Umbrella Corporation created clones of various people to populate the test scenarios in the Umbrella Prime facility. One such person cloned was the Business Man.
After escaping from her cell in Umbrella Prime, Alice ended up in the Tokyo test scenario where she witnessed a recreation of the Tokyo outbreak. In it, a clone of J Pop Girl attacked a clone of the Business Man, biting him and starting a wave of Undead attacks in the Tokyo scenario. After Alice fled into a nearby corridor, she was followed and attacked by several Undead, including the Business Man. In the fight that followed, Alice killed the Business Man with a shot through the head.
