Call is a gameplay mechanic in Resident Evil Outbreak and Resident Evil Outbreak File #2, where players can communicate with other players and their AIPCs. It is distinct from the Ad-lib mechanic, in that it gives orders to other partners rather than building on the lore.
Call types[]
There are in all eleven distinct calls, though two are unique to File #2 and one is online-only. They serve to both order AIPCs and allow limited communication with online players.
