The Car Key (車のキー kuruma no kī) is a key item in Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.[1]
Purpose[]
The Car Key is used to start Ethan's car in the Garage during the fight with Jack Baker. The Car Key only needs to be in the player's inventory to grant access to the car and starting it, it doesn't need to be selected to be used. Using it isn't require as the player can opt to fight Jack with weapons, but will make the fight slightly more difficult.
Location[]
The Car Key is located on a table in the Garage during Easy and Normal. On Madhouse, it is located on the same table but locked inside a toolbox, requiring a Lock Pick to unlock it.
