Carl Grisham transported the experimental alloy "TG-01" to Rockfort Island.[1] He was killed when the HUMVEE he was riding in crashed into a wall during the H.C.F.'s invasion of the island and the subsequent release of the t-Virus.
Carl was a trainee on Rockfort Island scheduled for a security transport to deliver commodities and special supplies from the airport to the Rockfort Prison. As per procedure, he requested access to the facility through prison chief Paul Steiner before entry. It was around this time the HCF began to bomb the base, causing an airborne spread of the T-Virus and the unintentional release of BOW's. Carl likely crashed during the bombing run and chaos caused by the biohazard. He later resurrected as a zombie. He became the first zombie seen on Code Veronica, and was eliminated by Claire Redfield.
