Carlos Olivera was a security guard who worked for the Umbrella Corporation in the years following the global T-virus pandemic.
Biography[]
Olivera was born many years into the pandemic, the result of Umbrella's industrialised cloning capabilities at the Umbrella Prime facility along the Siberian coast. His donor was likely among the initial batch of 50 DNA samples used by the company which, with its memory-implant technology, were capable of mass-producing loyal soldiers even as the wider human population dwindled towards extinction. This clone in particular was assigned by the Red Queen to operate as a guard at the complex, and was provided with the appropriate memories.[1]
Olivera worked with Jill Valentine, James Shade, Rain Ocampo, and several other guards in a mission to capture Alice, a rogue clone who had escaped their interrogation room with the aid of a spy. Oliveira tracked down the escapee to her rescuers, and killed Barry Burton during their departure. Oliveira was, however, ultimately killed when the facility's superstructure was compromised by a series of explosions that ruptured its hull, sending millions of tons of water into the facility.
