The best thing to use to kill El Gigante is a missle luancher, but for idiots that don't use one. Thenext best thing to use is the TMP. Concentrate most of the fire at his head. You also need to keep ready for action commands, you will need them when he grabs a near by tree. It's also a good idea to free the dog earlier in the game, but be carefull even then. Because Gigante will through rocks at the dog which can hit you. Oh and he will come after you sometimes too. Another tip is to listen for a specific grunt he does before charging at you. But you should be fine if you dodge him and keep shooting him with the TMP, and after enough damage is done a Plaga will come out of his back. use the action command to climb on him and cut his ass up. It takes about three to four times. After killing El Gigante it would be wise to save and maybe buy some things if needed.

Next you will head up to the church. There is a group of wolves waiting just before the church. Don't bother shooting them, waisting ammo is a sin. Just dodge them and get to the door before they attack. Now all that's left is to go up to the second floor and turn the lights the right way. Once this is done go get Ashley and grab all the ammo there. You will run into Saddler and end this chapter.

-After waking up from Leon's Plaga induced nightmare get the anonymous[good chance it's Luis] letter from the bed and all the items you need inside the cabin[don't forget the boxes. Then walk on the path towards the gate. Here you'll encounter a Ganado with his plaga exposed, he won't run at you but you might wanna keep your distance while shooting him as the whip attacks does some considerable damage, as much as possible aim for the plaga so you don't waste ammunition, a well placed shotgun or rifle shot will kill it in 1 hit. Once you either kill or skip him jump across the raging river then press action on the rope to rappel down. Once there, watch the upside as there's an Axe thrower there then after that grab the handgun munitions and other things. Now here you'll have to look for 3 creates being hung on chains use your rifle or if you're a crack shot or don't have 1 you could use a any other firearm you have, shoot the 3 then you can cross the river, Also check the beam near the falls before you go, there's an [[Amber Ring]] up there, shoot it to get it. Go up the ladder to divert the fall's current to allow you to pass now go down and get to the solid pathway, however once you get back on the pathway you'll be surrounded by a squad of Ganados[yes including behind you], Kill them or skip them your call, after making your choice dash to the cavern behind the fall to get the round insignia, the after that go up the ladder. You'll see the merchant and a save point, I strongly advise you get locked and loaded for this fight, get heals and all the ammo and barrels you can get for this fight, preferably a Rocket launcher if you can afford it...if you are ready go out the door champ.

-Now if you have a good supply of ammo, some Full HP restorers, a quick hand on the action buttons and some logic, El Gigante shouldn't be much of a problem, He's as strong as a heavy tank and as slow as a battle cruiser use his slow speed to your advantage, but if you have the Rocket launcher it's an "I win" situation so just get some range and introduce him to your little friend. There are cabins inside the arena with some supplies that should greatly help you
-El Gigante has these attacks:
-Stomp/Punch: Most of the time if you are in front of him he'll do this attack, he'll pause for a second in front of you[giving your precious time to get behind him via under his legs..ohh the horror or around him..whatever situation you are in] then commence the attack Deals moderate damage, stuns you for a few seconds
-Grab: Sometimes if you go under El Gigante or you are in front of him he'll grab and try to squeeze the life out of you, Rapidly press the flashing button on the screen as fast as you can so he'll release you[note that you'll probably end up with an Orange or Red health bar after this]
-Charge: If you are far away, he'll charge at you, he's not exactly fast so you could evade this very easily by moving away from his charge line[I observed that he charges almost like the [[Tyrant T-103]] ]
-Rock Throw: Gets a rock from the rubble, can be dodged using the buttons that will flash on your screen
-Tree swipe: El Gigante will uproot 1 of the trees and swing it in a circular manner, you can evade this attack using the buttons that will flash on your screen
-Fighting him:
-As much as possible NEVER allow him to get close to you, as I said he may be as slow as a battle cruiser but he hits like a heavy tank. Use either your shotgun or TMP at him[resort with the Pistol and Knife if you run out of options] and use your grenades in between for stuns and fast and powerful damage[most properly thrown will stun him for a few seconds], I really don't recommend the rifle as the slow cycling rate will be the death of you, also if you rescued the dog trapped earlier he'll provide a distraction for you while battling him giving you some precious time to get distance, don't worry he won't die. Try to run in a circle on the edges of the arena and unload a few shots while he's distanced from you, when he gets close go again and get some distance. When you've dealt a considerable amount of beating to him, El Gigante will expose the Plaga on his back which is your golden moment to deal mortal damage to him. Now you CAN shoot the Plaga using whatever weapon you have, preferably unload at him with a shotgun at close range to do major damage BUT you also have the option of climbing on his back and spamming either 1 or 3 to knife the bugger to death[note if you press the wrong button El Gigante will stand up and throw you causing damage to you instead]. I personally and strongly recommend you just use a firearm and unload the plaga on him to save you the time and energy, but if you are low on ammunition or just love the thrill of spamming the buttons do whatever tickles your fancy. Now after dealing damage to it, he'll retract the plaga back into his body, just repeat what you did and before you know it he goes down. When he does rejoice!, after that collect your earnings from his body[I didn't say corpse as he did not disintegrate like most infected]

-Still alive? good good now salvage the stuff you didn't get earlier in the arena and exit to the western door, afterwards you'll find a familiar pathway, follow it until you get to the church. Now you WON'T encounter Ganados on this one but [[Colmillos]], they're extremely agile and can pounce on you, causing a quick time event. Waste em' or once again evade them and get to the church door and use the Round Insignia to enter the church. Grab the items on the altar and break the barrels down there and then proceed up the ladder, go to the pathway where there are no railings and in-front of the Chandelier, jump on it and time your jump right[when you are swinged to the maximum length] and be faced with the a very easy puzzle, all you have to do is match the fragment to the symbol on the center but here is how you should position the circles:
-on the circle you'll notice an arrow on it just position them like this:
-Red circle: Down[south position]
-Green Circle: Left[West position]
-Blue Circle: Right[East position]
-After that activate it to release the bars blocking the pathway, after that enter the door there to see THE MOST POWERFUL PLAGA MUTANT YOU'LL EVER SEE!!!....joking joking it's [[Ashley Graham]], now after that proceed down the ladder you previously used to go up and for some mystic reason Ashley cannot use ladders to climb down and you'll have to catch her with the action button...but then again if you are wearing that kind of clothing I'm not the least bit surprised, then dash to the door where you'll encounter Mr.[[Osmund Saddler]] the leader of Los Illuminados, watch the cut scene and after that it's the end of the chapter...yay!
