In this chapter you will encounter a familiar enemy, lickers, if you don't run or kick doors then they won't know you're there. However, you will encounter a door only openable by kicking and this action will enrage the lickers, who will then break from their glass containers and attack the pair. Chris and Sheva can escape by activating the elevator, though it takes time for it to arrive. Once the elevator is here, the pair can escape and leave the Lickers. This Chapter is good for farming money due to its short mission time and large amount of treasures, especially those gems dropped by some of the lickers.
You'll actually have to fight at least two lickers after smashing a window to get past, but those shouldn't be a problem. After smashing the door, you'll have to run down the hallway to call the elevator. After doing so, you might simply kill all the lickers or at least defend yourself until the elevator arrives. Since the lickers are quite slow and the hallway is long and narrow, you may want to kill all of them with some grenades and / or your rifle for the gems some of them drop.
Experimental Facility[]
Once you get to the boss fight, a small scene will happen involving you to press a dodge move or you will be killed. The boss can be fairly easy; firstly you are required to shoot one of its legs to make it go down (you will be notified that it went down) and once it does get close to it and drop a Hand Grenade in its mouth by pressing X or Square, then keep shooting its head just above its mouth. First time players may wish to use this method, however it is possible to defeat the boss if the weapon you have equipped has been upgraded enough. Keep shooting at its mouth and legs if possible and it will soon drop down.
