Charles Coleman was the Executive Director of the Umbrella Corporation in 1998.[1] He worked from Umbrella Headquarters, and arranged for meetings, seminars and briefings etc. for all types of corporation personnel, both official and illegal.

- In the English script of Resident Evil 2, Coleman's refereed to as "Secretary Chief", however a more accurate translation of "事務局長" would be "Executive Director"
- BradyGames mistranslated Coleman's role as "Security chief" when they localized Resident Evil Archives.
