Chicago Sweeper is a weapon in Resident Evil 4.
Location[]
This weapon can be unlocked by beating Professional mode of the main campaign with an A-rank and will be available in the Extra content shop for purchase. Afterwards, loading a NG+ save file allows the player to retrieve it from any Typewriter.
Gameplay[]
Despite its incredible stats from a submachinegun, it is the most inaccurate, slowest to reload, takes the most number of inventory slots, and the most expensive to fully upgrade. Despite the glaring downsides however, it is the single most versatile weapon in the game once it is fully upgraded, capable of safely dispensing absurd amounts of damage non-stop as its exclusive upgrade negates the need to reload entirely.
While nowhere near as powerful as its original incarnation, it remains a powerful weapon on its own right.
The Chicago Sweeper is one of Leon (Pinstripe)'s starting weapons in The Mercenaries mode.
It's Advisable to use the exclusive upgrade ticket to obtain the exclusive perk (infinite ammo), as it will negate the need to spend money on upgrading ammo capacity and reload speed, as they will be irrelevant, and maxed out instantly.
