Combat Knife (コンバットナイフ konbattonaifu) is a melee weapon in Resident Evil 4.
Gameplay[]
Leon begins with this knife, allowing him to parry incoming attacks and finish off downed enemies without the risk of plaga transformation. Without upgrades it is superior to the common Kitchen Knives and Boot Knives, granted not by much, while also being faster than any other knives in the game by default. When fully upgraded however, the Combat Knife becomes a powerful weapon on its own, more than capable in clearing out a ganado or two with ease owing to its exclusive upgrade enhancing its already fast attack speed even further. Durability-wise, it is the 2nd most durable knife in the game, which more than accommodates the intended playstyle that its exclusive upgrade promotes.
