Commando #1 was a member of the Umbrella commando team led by James Shade that entered The Hive to shut down the Red Queen.

Biography

When they entered the Red Queen's chamber and the laser defense was activated, this commando's fingers were sliced off. Since the medic was killed by the Red Queen, he could not get medical attention and died of shock. His death was one of the few events that caused One to "lose his cool".
