The Crystal Ball (水晶の玉 Suishō no tama) is a key item in Resident Evil 3: Nemesis.
Purpose[]
Jill uses it, along with the Amber Ball and the Obsidian Ball, to complete the clock puzzle, allowing her to obtain the Gold Gear.
When solving the clock puzzle, this ball has these properties:
- Minus one hour, using on the Past Goddess;
- Plus one hour, using in the Present Goddess;
- And plus two hours, using on the Future Goddess.
Jill can reacquire the ball from any picture if she has not solved the puzzle already. After Jill solves the puzzle and obtains the Gold Gear, the Crystal Ball cannot be picked up again.
Location[]
Jill can find the Crystal Ball in the Storeroom of the Saint Michael Clock Tower, held in the tray of a statue of a blue maiden. Jill can read the message "A maiden's statue holding a tray. A Crystal Ball is on the tray." when she examines the statue that holds it.
