D.J. McInerney was one of Terri Morales' street contacts relied upon for scoops.

Biography

In 2002, he provided her with video footage of notorious Councillor Miller taking bribes. When it was revealed to be a forgery, he fled town, ruining Morales' reporting career.[1][2] This soiled Raccoon 7's clean reputation, made worse when it was discovered the following week that there was footage of Miller engaging in illegal acts, but another news service beat them to it.[3] McInerney's faked footage would lead to problems later when Terri's report on the Raccoon City incident was spread over the net, allowing the Umbrella Corporation to easily dismiss it as a forgery.
