Diana was a citizen of New Raccoon City, a closed community in South Africa which was controlled by the Umbrella Corporation.
Biography[]
Diana married Evelyn Marcus, the daughter of Umbrella founder James Marcus. The two have a son named Simon Marcus. Evelyn's constant absence put a toll on the family and her relationship with her wife. When Umbrella's facility in the city got hacked by an unknown entity, Diana arrived there and publicly admonished Evelyn for not telling her that she was back from Japan.
Later, Evelyn claimed that she and Diana have remedied the situation, but in reality she covertly began giving her wife dosages of Joy, a drug containing a strain of t-Virus. Joy was developed by Umbrella as a cure for depression, mood swings, apathy and other conditions which affect the daily performance of an individual. Evelyn and Diana's son, Simon noticed his mother's unusual behavior when she cooked the same meal twice for Evelyn, who wasn't home and when she cut her finger with a kitchen knife, she did not react to it and continued listening to music and cooking instead. Diana's fate after the year of 2022 is currently unknown.
