This area is the important part of the Warren Street. Jill can enter the Raccoon City Hall and The Raccoon Press through this place. The Raccoon Hall is closed initialy, and the gate memo reads, that the working hours are 9:00 - 17:00. There's a gem clock near the gateway and the clock needles shows about 2:50. To activate the mechanism, it's necessary to input Blue Gem and Green Gem to it. After placing the two gems, the gate to the Hall opens.
Some Handgun Ammo can be found in that area, searching one of the dead bodies. There's also a door in the end of the alley, locked from the other side. The only way to open it is jumping from the window during the live selection in the press office.
Nemesis can jump from the second floor of the Raccoon Press if he was left there and he is present in the game.
When returning to the mayor's statue with Bronze Compass through this place, three Zombie Dogs or seven Crows will break through the showcase and attack Jill.
