Plot
In the early hours of October 1st, 1998, Linda heads to the Umbrella corp facility to obtain the cure to the T-virus, while Rodriguez protest saying that "It's too dangerous." but ultamatily gives in and let her go and waits back at the Chopper in Main street. David King at that time had taken refuge in the Umbrella's Raccoon City Corporate Headquarters. There he saved Carter an Umbrella researcher from a zombie that was presumbly attacking him. Almost immediatly after Linda entered and was nearlu killed by David after mistaking her for a zombie. Linda and Carter entered in brief conversation as David looking out for any monsters. After suggesting to David that he should go with them an aert tiggered sealing them all in the building. A short time later David finds Carter in a lab overlooking a room with laser cage. He ask David a favor to find a disk to activate the Tyrant T-0400TP. Once he is activated he begins to kill all the Hunters in the laser cage before destoying the cage itself. This feat impressed Carter but unnerved Linda as this tyrant hadnt been fully tested yet. Carter tried to reesure by saying it knew who it master where and that if got he had solution (in the form of a bomb in it's neck) before showing her the detonator. This however out to be a mistake as Carter underestimated the intelligence of this Tyrant as heard Carter and Linda talking and saw the detenator and waited for Carter to let his guard down. When Linda and Carter reach the back exit he attacked them both. He kills Carter by smashing torso against metal floor, Crushes the cure, and knocks Linda and the Bomb switch for Tyrant down into the Sewers knocking her out before turning his attention to David. Seeing no way to beat the much larger opponent he ran.
As David fled from Tyrant he found his way into the sewers. There he found Linda in the waterway. At that point Tyrant jumped down from same room where Carter was killed and began to attack him again. After rescuing Linda water comes running down into the sewer washed them into another part the sewer, seperating them from the Tyrant(this only happen if you dont use the detonator on tyrant in his first form). David and Linda return to the surface. As Linda crossed a street to get into the Apple Inn a U.B.C.S sniper mistakes her as a zombie and shoots her in a leg from the highway. His response is "Shit, I think that may have been a live one, ah well... fuck it!".
David is forced dodge the gunfire of this sniper and save Linda in the Apple Inn as she knew how to make the cure. As David is taking her to Rodriguez helicopter they though an abandoned office building when they overhear Tommy a Umbrella executive and Arnold talking about the city being bombed. After Tommy and Arnold finish arguing Arnold decides to leave the city before it is bombed while Tommy demands he get the container holding Nyx. Upon hearing this David rushes to the Helicopter with Linda where Rodriguez is waiting but confronted by the newly tranphormed tryant and Rodriguez is given order to take off with the container that Nyx in it. As he takes off Tommy shoots a rocket towards his helicopter but misses only damaging the chain holding up Nyx, as the helicopter turns the damaged chain breaks causing the Container falls onto the highway releasing Nyx and the remaing U.B.C.S members are killed and absorbed by Nyx.
After the helicopter left David defeats the tyrant and back tracks to the office building and makes his way to the highway hoping to find another way out. Just as he made his way on to the Highway he find that the Tyrant is still alive and climbed up to the Highway from the road. Just as it reached it Nyx absorbs it. With not even an hour remaining before the missiles hit Raccoon city David fights and kills Nyx, releasing an unconcious Tyrant, then helps Linda to a Military cargo truck where they escape before the missiles strikes. They make it to a small base a few miles away from Raccoon city where other survivors rest.
