Following the incident, she joined a non-government organization dedicated to helping victims of biological and chemical weapons. The organization is known as TerraSave.

Claire and Moira wake up in prison cells. Before they can figure out where they are or what's going on, they see one of their co-workers ripped to shreds by some kind of monster. Both girls escape to the main hall where they are contacted by an unnamed woman who speaks poetry referring to Franz Kafka's works. The woman explains about the bracelets that they now wear which measure the wearer's fear as part of an experiment. After defeating the monsters in the prison facility and exiting, Claire and Moira are again contacted by the woman who introduces herself as the Overseer and tells them to go to Wossek. When they arrive at the radio tower Claire fixes the radio signal at the top of the tower as Moira tries to contact help in an S.O.S. From the top of the tower, Claire can see they are on an island.
