Comeback is the thirty-third chapter in the Resident Evil: The Marhawa Desire manga series. It was first published in Weekly Shōnen Champion Extra's 2013 series, but was later on re-published in the fifth tankōbon volume.
Plot[]
Nanan Yoshihara jumps up into the air, leaving Cpt. Chris Redfield behind. She lands on the walkway above, where the mysterious woman is with Ricky Tozawa. About to inject Tozawa with the C-Virus, she is instead forced to hookshot away. With the woman gone, Yoshihara focuses her attention to Tozawa, but is shot at repeatedly by Cpt. Redfield. With no pipes upstairs, there is no danger in shooting at her. She falls down to the ground. As Cpt. Redfield asks Tozawa if he is OK, Yoshihara grabs him with her tentacles, intent on infecting him with her gas. However, he is able to escape and avoid infection. Changing tactics, he allows himself to be grabbed by Yoshihara, and instead starts slicing tentacles off with his knife. In the meantime, Tozawa has made his way to the control room, and has activated the ventilation system, lowering the effectiveness of Yoshihara's gas.
