Evan was an Umbrella employee who worked at the Spencer Mansion.[1]
Biography[]
In mid-1998, Umbrella's facilities in Raccoon City were contaminated by an outbreak of T-virus, leaving Evan trapped at the Spencer Mansion as he and the other employees began to show symptoms of Cannibal Disease. While physically these symptoms manifested in hair loss and haemolacria, mental side-effects ranged from confusion to violent mood swings. Over the course of the disease's progression, Evan was mauled by another employee, which resulted in his lips being torn off.
In the early hours of 1 October, Evan wandered around the halls of the mansion to investigate the arrival of RPD officers, and confronted Jill Valentine and Albert Wesker in the library where he was shot before he could attack. Evan tried once more to get back up and attack Jill, and was killed by a gunshot wound to the head.[1]

- The audio description commentary for the film mistakenly refers to Evan as "Kevin", and claims he is wearing a police uniform. This AD was likely confused with a scene shortly after where Chris Redfield finds Kevin Dooley.
- While the uniform identified him by name, the actual role is simply credited as "Lipless Zombie".[2]
- Given his work clothes which include Umbrella patches, Evan may have been part of the facility's USS garrison.
