The Evidence room is an area of the Raccoon Police Station featured both in Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis.
During the outbreak, the evidence room was used to shelter injured officers after the conflict in the northwest corridor and operations room. The door leading to the west wing corridor was locked to prevent zombies from gaining access to the area. On September 28, the injured officers succumbed to the virus and overran the west office, where the remaining officers were seeking shelter.
Resident Evil 2
The room must be unlocked before it can be entered. There are multiple zombies inside, which requires a suitable weapon in order to get through safely.
For Claire scenarios A and B, she can find a Plastic Explosive inside one of the locker boxes and a bow gun bolt. In Leon scenarios A and B, he can find Shotgun Shells. Both of them can find film A or film B in this room based on which scenario they are in.
Resident Evil 3: NemesisThe box cells, containing the Sapphire and the S.T.A.R.S. Key, are highlighted by red indicators. The Blue Gem can be obtained simply by opening the cell. The box, containing the Emblem Key, must be opened by inputting a four-digit code. The right code can be seen on the computer in the Main Hall. Additionally, there is one more box cell in this room which contains an item. Gun Powder B can be obtained from it by using the Lockpick.
