The Executioner is a large creature manifested within the Fungal Root's consciousness. He serves as the Masked Duke's main minion, being sent out to kill the Husks who make it too far and achieved their goal of retrieving the Purifying Crystal.
Biology[]
Having been manifested from the consciousness of the Black God, the Executioner was given immense strength and speed, though his many heads are fused together into an singular body. His aggression would immediately increase if his weak spot has been struck a few times and this can frenzy the Executioner. Similar to Uriaș, his brother Uriaș Străjer, and the Uriaș Diavolului, he wields a heavy weapon and is big in size, though smaller than the aforementioned giant Lycan mutants. Moreover, in his second phase, the Executioner's swing attacks are faster than that of Uriaș and Uriaș Străjer combined, though weaker than the two.
Gameplay[]
The Executioner first appears in the dungeon of Castle Dimitrescu where the silver mask is found. Here he must be avoided as the player does not have enough ammo to do any real damage to him, so running and ducking into crawl spaces are the only real tactics. He then appears in the courtyard where he is once again cannot be killed and must be avoided.
Later on however, Rose is captured by the Executioner after she gets the third and final mask and forced to fight him in an arena. Here he has three phases and switches to each one after a certain amount of damage is dealt to his glowing orange weak spots.
In his first phase, he walks around attempting to either slam his weapon into the player or grab them, both of which deal significant damage. After this, most of the arena is blocked off by pools of Mold and the Executioner goes into a frenzy, sprinting towards the player and attacking with fast, sweeping blows. Once again, after enough damage has been done to him, he goes into his third phase which is identical to the first, but his weak spot is now on his back, requiring the player to use their upgraded powers in order to stun him and destroy the spot, killing him once and for all.
