The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is a United States federal law enforcement agency that carries out domestic intelligence and security services.
History
In 1998 after the Mansion Incident, Chris Redfield while still part of the Raccoon Police Department's Special Tactics and Rescue Service unit requested the FBI to conduct an investigation of the G-Virus and Brian Irons. During the investigations, no information about the G-Virus was uncovered but they had found evidence implicating Irons as taking bribes from Umbrella as well as harboring a dark past. On September 29, section chief Jack Hamilton of Internal Investigations sent their findings back via fax to Chris (although he would not end up receiving it due to not being in Raccoon City at the time).[1]
