The Fever Skill is a Survivor's main ability in Resident Evil: Resistance.

Gameplay

The Fever Skill will differ depending on the character being played and their label as "Damage", "Hacker", "Support" or "Tank".

Valerie Harmon

Valerie's Fever Skill is called "Modified First Aid Spray", Valerie will place a healing station on her feet which will heal and remove poison from herself and any teammates within the area of effect over time.

This skill will instantly revive any players from the downed state so long as they are within its area of effect, however it will not heal them to full health unless they stay within the circle.

The Modified First Aid Spray will still work on teammates which are performing an animation such as being grabbed by an enemy or using the Armory. Due to its long preparatory motion, Valerie can easily be knocked off of the initial animation, which will cancel her out of it. However, the cooldown will stay intact, allowing her to try to set it up again.

More information:

  • Remedy stays active for 10 seconds, healing 50HP in the process (adding up for a total of 1000HP).
  • Spray Gun can stay active for 6 seconds, healing 250HP in the process (adding up for a total of 3000HP).
  • Spray Gun has a faster deployment, shorter cooldown and heals more but it can't heal infection and can be interrupted in the middle of the animation causing the Fever to be wasted.
  • Both variants can revive defeated survivors.
  • The Spray Gun variant can be cancelled by using the same activation input.
  • The player can benefit additional 10 seconds while the Enhancing spray is in effect. Note: Buff status stays up for 1 minute.

January Van Sant

January's Fever Skill is called "EMP". Jan will increase the cost of the Mastermind's cards for 15 seconds. January cannot move while performing this skill.

  • Spencer's Hypercharge card counters Interference, which has the exact opposite effect for the same duration.

Tyrone Henry

Tyrone's Fever Skill is called "Rally", Tyrone will perform a quick animation where he will apply a heavy damage resistance to himself and any teammates caught within the area of effect. This buff is only given once at the start of his animation.

Rally will allow players to tank any upcoming damage which can be stacked with the effects of the Yellow Herb or Enhancing Spray which, at that point, even attacks from the almighty Tyrant (T-103 Model) will feel like a mere sneeze.

Players with this damage resistance will obtain a white aura around their bodies throughout its duration.

  • Safeguard increase the damage reduction from 50% to 80% for 15 seconds.
  • Life Line reduces the damage received by 50% for 10 seconds, and heals 40% HP.
  • Rapid Response reduces the damage received by 50% for 15 seconds and grants a speed similar to 2 speed equipments.
  • Yellow Herbs and Enhancing Sprays' 30% defense will be applied on the remaining %, in other words, it's a 30% of Safeguard's remaining 20% (6%) or Life Line's remaining 50% (15%).
  • Tyrone can recover his Fever instantly after using his passive skill, Second Wind.

Samuel Jordan

Samuel's Fever Skill is called "Fists of Iron". Sam will enter a state where he will be unable to use firearms or grenades, but instead he will only be able to use his fists which will deal more damage than his regular punching attacks. Samuel can extend its duration with each creature kill.

When coupled with his Personal Skill, Samuel is able to move from enemy to enemy quickly, he will also perform Finishers more often, which will deal heavy damage to enemies. Fists of Iron also deals good damage against the Bio Cores. Samuel will have a white glow around his model throughout its duration.

Martin Sandwich

Martin's Fever Skill is called "Flash Baton". It will interrupt and temporarily paralyze nearby enemies.

Becca Woolett

Becca's Fever Skill is called "Bullet Storm". The skill will grant her access to unlimited ammo for a short duration.

Jill Valentine

Jill's Fever Skill allows her to equip a special gun for a set period of time and limited use, depending on the variant, she'll use either a Samurai Edge or a Rocket Launcher.

  • The Samurai Edge variant stays active for 30 seconds and it has 7 bullets.
  • The Rocket Launcher variant stays active for 20 seconds and it has 4 shots.
  • Hot Dogger last for 20 seconds. The burn effect can be stacked. Breakaway option during the fever does 660 base damage and has a change of the burn effect like the normal attacks.
  • Keeping Jill's Fever fully charged will enable the use of her B&E Specialist passive skill.
  • The Fever can be cancelled by using the same activation input.
