The 2020 Tokyo Game Show is a gaming convention that was held digitally between September 23–27.
Resident Evil at TGS 2020[]
Capcom Special Program[]
During the Capcom Special Program on the 25th, a "Making Of" video of Resident Evil Village was shown and Peter J. Fabiano alongside Tsuyoshi Kanda were both present at the program to disclose information. The 25th Anniversary was announced alongside the possibility of Resident Evil Village coming to the PS4 and Xbox One.

During this broadcast, the same information shown at the Capcom Special Program was shown, alongside that, Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness was officially announced and it was stated that it was a CGI series rather than a movie.
During the guest show segment, Eiko Kano played a section of Resident Evil Village, however, the gameplay footage was not shown to the viewers.
General Information[]
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the convention was held digitally. Capcom had its own set of streams where Resident Evil Village information was discoursed.[1]
New products related to Resident Evil Village started being sold at the eCapcom store to promote the event.[2] Promotional icons were also made available at Capcom's site periodically, these are meant to be used in social media.[3][4] Starting from September 24, the Tokyo Game Show Media Award 2020 was set up online where Resident Evil Village was among the games in the list, users could vote for the game of their choice by using a Twitter account.[5]
During the Xbox conference on the 24th, the Resident Evil Village - Announcement Trailer was shown.
