The 2021 Tokyo Game Show was a gaming convention to be held from 30 September to 3 October 2021. Due to the continuing effects of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic in Japan, this year's TGS was closed door event aired online.
Resident Evil at TGS 2021[]
Resident Evil is scheduled to appear at the Capcom Online Porgram event on 30 September, airing between 22:00-22:50, Japan Standard Time (UTC+9)
As part of Capcom's "Capcom Online Program Commemorative Campaign", Resident Evil themed items are part of the possible winnable prizes. The campaign involves searching Capcom TGS2021 related websites to find keywords and entering them in the application hosted on Capcom's TGS2021 page. The Resident Evil themed prizes include the Tokyo Marui Resident Evil Thor Hammer <Albert W. Model 02> and Resident Evil Village themed acrylic jigsaw puzzle.
Resident Evil apparel was also part of Capcom's eCapcom TGS2021 Online Special store collection. The collection included the "Biohazard x NEW ERA collaboration cap" featuring Mr. Raccoon, "Biohazard x NEW ERA Collaboration T-shit" featuring the welcoming sign of Raccoon City, and the "Biohazard Line Art T-shirt".
As part of the companion event "Tokyo Game Music Fes", music from the Resident Evil series was part of the concert scheduled for October 3 (Sun), 2021.
