The TAR-21 is featured in Resident Evil: Apocalypse in the hands of the Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service during their mission into Raccoon City. Several are seen in the film, including one carried by Nicholai Ginovaef. Some models are seen with mounted MARS sights, while others use more powerful scopes.
