"I'll buy you some time"[note 1] is a cutscene in Resident Evil 3.
Plot[]
Jill Valentine approaches Carlos Oliveira and asks if the trains are prepared to leave Raccoon City, Carlos lets her know that maintenance will take 30–40 minutes, and they are approached by Nikolai Zinoviev and Tyrell Patrick. After the two men walk away, Nemesis crashes through a nearby wall, and Jill quickly presses a button to electronically close the gate. After Carlos is inside, she rolls onto the other side in order to distract Nemesis and give Carlos and his comrades adequate time to get the trains ready to leave the city.
Transcript[]
Carlos Oliveira: "Nice job, supercop. I'm impressed."
Jill Valentine: "We back in business?"
Carlos: "Yeah, mostly. But we'll need 30 to 40 minutes to finish maintenance.
Nicholai! How we doin'?"
Nikolai Zinoviev: "The town's crawling with those freaks. No chance of fighting our way out of the city."
"Why is she here?"
Carlos: "She's helping get the trains running again."
Nikolai: "Bad time to start carrying dead weight, friend. She's unreliable. Can't pull the trigger when it counts."
Carlos: "Hey, take it easy."
Nikolai: "She'll get you killed."
Carlos: "Sorry about that. Everyone's a little worked up."
"Aw, come on. Not again."
Jill: "It's me he's after. I'll buy you some time."
Carlos: "Hey, wait! Wait, Jill! No! God dammit!"
