"R.I.P. Rodrigo"[note 1] is a cutscene in Resident Evil CODE:Veronica.
Plot[]
After managing to defeat Gulp Worm, it spit Rodrigo out before falling. But it was a little too late because he received acid burns throughout his body and was dying. He started saying his final words and gave back the token of thanks that Claire gave him, and then died peacefully at the thought of meeting his family again.
Transcript[]
Chris Redfield: "Hold on! Don't give up!"
Rodrigo Juan Raval: "Looks like I can meet my family.. again. Here, take this."
Chris: "What?"
Rodrigo: "She gave this to me as a token of thanks for saving her. I don't need it any... more... Take.. it."
