A
S.T.A.R.S helicopter landing in the forest.
Construction begins on a new set in the middle of the woods. Striking similarities to the exterior doorway of the
Spencer Mansion.
A better look at Bravo Team's Bell UH-1 Iroquois helicopter, notice the S.T.A.R.S logo on the side. Once again, fantastic accuracy/attention to detail.
Close-up look at the S.T.A.R.S helicopter, notice the blood on the window, likely indicating the body of Kevin Dooley.
"Bravo team's helicopter was a derelict..." "Strangely enough, nobody was in it. However, we soon discovered why..."
The
R.P.D emblem/shield also appears on the front door as well.
First night of shooting on a suburban street in Sudbury, locals reported extras in zombie makeup and shooting.
Sudbury police over-watching the addition of a
Raccoon City sign to an underpass. Just a couple of blocks over from the previous image.
"You are now leaving: Raccoon City" with "Thank fucking god!" tagged on top. Notice the graffiti on the left wall "HOME OF UMBRELLA" and on the right "EAT THE RICH"
Filming under the bridge later that evening.
Filming, from the other side. All the masks make the crew look like Umbrella henchmen.
A dilapidated abode, quarantined by Umbrella.
A view of the street, with a gutted car left on the street corner.
Snow falls as construction begins on the monolithic front gates.
Another angle, showing the set more completed, plus the addition of the exterior wall.
The RPD gate, missing any decor and with an unpainted gate.
More construction on a snowy day.
Further construction, the snow has melted, more painting has been done, and the entrance-way now has a roof.
The RPD sign finally goes up against a sunset.
The front gates of the RPD, with its flags blowing in the wind.
The RPD gate, now with flags for the US and the RPD.
The gate is now painted, a curbside has been constructed, and the classic round lights have been added to the RPD.
A fan standing in front of the RPD gate with the entrance doorway in the back.
Era-appropriate vehicles showing up on set around the entrance.
Another angle with the age-appropriate civilian vehicles.
A badly damaged truck frame appears in front of the RPD set, the cars are now gone.
Another angle, looking ominous in the sunset.
The front lights of the RPD light up for the first time.
The front gates of the R.P.D. and a large green screen is placed around the set and behind the doors that (presumably) Leon and Claire will open as the crew prepares for filming.
A better look at the truck, this time missing it's container and with a drape over it, parked in front of the lit-up RPD, suggesting to me that the truck will crash directly in front of the gates as the wreckage in previous pictures indicated.
Two videos went up the same night, this one showed crews adding flames to the truck wreckage, another one, taken further away which I can no longer find, showed the wreckage exploding into a massive explosion.
Ditto, and incredible shot of the set, fire has been added, as has smoke (notice the various crew members hiding on set and spraying it out), and the RPD is lit up completely, tons of zombie extras approach the gates.
The street near the RPD set, littered with period-accurate but damaged and abandoned cars.
An office of the
R.P.D., note the sign welcoming
Leon and
Wesker's sunglasses on top the computer monitor.
A door with a Raccoon Police emblem decal. Likely for
Brian Irons office.
The exterior of
Emmy's Diner. Notice the sign on the wall "Emmy's Restaurant serving you since 1952".
Another view of Emmy's, this time RPD cruiser #107 makes a reappearance, this time without its flashers.
A deer head and fireplace located in the Spencer Mansion.
Another behind-the-scenes shot, directing the helicopter crash in the library.
A fan takes photo in front of the shop, notice the herbs in the window,
Maximum Standard ammo advertisement on the door, and the 'This Too Shall Pass!!!' graffiti from
OG RE2.
The interior of the orphanage, these images were posted by one of the makeup crew during filming.
Richard Aiken's name tag and S.T.A.R.S badge.
A look at the standard officer RPD badge (such as the one
Leon is wearing on his coat.
A flyer in Emmy's promoting an annual baseball tournament between the Raccoon Police and Umbrella Corp baseball teams.
A tabletop sign advertising 'Herb's Cherry Pie' at Emmy's Diner.
Chris Redfield actor Robbie Amell showing off three herbs: blue, red, and green, as well as his Kendo custom S.T.A.R.S. berretta.
S.T.A.R.S. Bravo team, loading up their weapons.
A shotgun, shared by Chad Rook (Richard Aiken).
Ditto in a jar, alongside vials of
T and
G-Virus.
Some close attention to detail, the truck appears to have the same decals as RE2make.
The semi alongside two RPD cruisers, can't make out their #'s but one seems to be missing the flashers.
The truck appears on set.
Someone captured a short video of the semi being filmed barreling down the street here.
"That guys a maniac! Why'd he bite me?!"
Leon should get a Jeep sponsorship if he hasn't already.
A classic
Pontiac Fiero with an interesting Raccoon City license plate.
Between the bullets and the claw marks I'm saying pretty busted up! Might wanna take that into the shop!
A police cruiser (#236) appears on the RPD set.
Ditto, with a better view of the front gate.
A photo of an RPD cruiser (#103) appearing elsewhere.
Another closer angle of the same cruiser (#103). Notice the design similar to that of
Darkside Chronicles.
Another new RPD police cruiser appears alongside the previous one, now parked further back (#107) as the crews set up, getting ready to film.
A RPD van (#116) parked behind Emmy's.
Weeks later, the return of the #116 RPD van.
The aforementioned RPD van appears in a wooded area.
"Mr. Kennedy... I don't feel so good..."
Some pretty deep claw/burn marks on the side of the van.
More gashes. Lickers? Hunters? G-Birkin?
A black military-grade troop transport truck.
The left-hand side of the truck reveals the
Umbrella logo, looking very similar to the
UBCS logo from the
RE3 remake.
Two more Umbrella military vehicles, two old-school CW-era humvees (HMMWV), one with a mounted turret.
A close up of the Umbrella decal.
A look at the S.T.A.R.S chopper (N39 6RC) being moved mid-day.
"Hope it's not Chris's blood!"
Kaya (Claire) and Robbie (Chris) behind the scenes.
Kaya (Claire) and Holly (Sherry).
Leon actor Avan Jogia appears in a notably familiar attire, a jacket overlay (with a badge—and a fur collar), and a standard police uniform and name badge underneath.
Leon (Jogia) seen here, wearing an outfit that looks notably similar to his RE2 remake gear, but with the notable addition of straps on the shoulders, reminiscent of his classic outfit.
Tom Hopper (Wesker) and Hannah John-Kamen (Jill) filming their
Emmy's Diner scene.
Holly (Sherry) and Tom (Wesker) in the Dining Hall.
Avan (Leon) and Holly (Sherry) on the Spencer Mansion set.
Jill (Hannah), Wesker (Tom), and Richard (Chad) on the set of the mansion's front hall.
Chad Rook (Richard) and Nathan Dales (Brad) at their trailers.
Richard (Chad) on set with director Johannes Roberts.
Josh (Ben) in full costume.
Contortionist and America's Got Talent contestant Marina Mazepa uploaded a video of her receiving a full latex head cast, with the tags #residentevil and #lisatrevor included in the description.
A video later uploaded by Mazepa showing off her acrobatic skills while practicing with her hands tied in a similar fashion to
Lisa Trevor.
A shot of the setup outside the Scottish Rite where filming was taking place in-doors.
The camera-operating crew on set. (Matt Irwin, Ryan Prouse, Matthew Muszalski, Axel Green)
A t-shirt design from the wrap party, showing a close-up first look at the infamous 'turning around zombie' encountered in the mansion.
A board containing signatures from Tom Hopper (Wesker), Donal Logue (Irons), Hannah John-Kamen (Jill), Avan Jogia (Leon),
Johannes Roberts, Robbie Amell (Chris), Chad Rook (Richard) and Nathan Dales (Brad)
An Umbrella Corporation logo signed by Kaya Scodelario (Claire) and Robbie Amell (Chris)
For the fans! Also, the first announcement of the Director of Photography being horror cinematographer
Maxime Alexandre.
A bloody filtered image of the clapboard with a doodle in the corner likely parodying the
first game's cover.
A shot of the film's crew setting up to film a scene at/outside Gun Shop Kendo.
A production sign outside the Scottish Rite in Hamilton, Ontario where some interior filming was done.
Raccoon Forest filming begins in the wilderness of Northwestern Ontario.
Some crew tents set up early into filming.
The exterior of Robbie's trailer from the first day of filming.
Claire Redfield actress Kaya Scoldelario laments the lack of Halloween at her trailer.
A cast chair for Robbie Amell, suitably named "Chris Redfield".
Maxime posted this upon the wrap of filming, a nice little art piece which includes the RPD exterior and the front hall of the Spencer Mansion. The mock 'trading card' also includes a nice nod to
RE4's health/ammo counter.
Ditto, for the B Cam Operator.
