George A. Romero
(Rejected movie script)

Forest Speyer was a member of the S.T.A.R.S. Alpha Team. He is described as having been a "wiry Willem Defoe type".[1]

Speyer was assigned to Colonel Wesker's unit as Raccoon City, Pennsylvania was ravaged by the t-Virus. Landing at the Arkley Mansion, Speyer found the bloody remains of Jill Valentine's beret, leading to the Bravo Team being declared KIA.[1] Entering the mansion they immediately broke up into groups, with Speyer; Wesker and Burton exploring the dining room. They heard a gunshot in another room and ran into a corridor to find a several day old corpse next to him. This confused Speyer, since the bullet wounds were sustained recently, adding question to why someone would shoot someone who's already dead.[2] Finding Jill Valentine alive and well but in shock, the reinforced group went off to the kitchen, where they heard Kenneth Sullivan scream out.

Further notes

As Paul W.S. Anderson's script was not based on George A. Romero's, Forest Speyer failed to pass on to the released film.
