Freeze Rounds (冷凍弾, reitō-tama) is an ammunition item in Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. They are especially useful against Nemesis; though, as with all grenade rounds, he can dodge them. Unlike other such rounds in RE3, Freeze Rounds appear blue rather than red when fired.

Locations

Unlike Grenade Rounds, Freeze Rounds cannot be typically found by Jill, and can only be obtained during a cutscene.

• Clock Tower/1F corridor: If Jill chooses to jump out of the trolley before it crashes at the Saint Michael Clock Tower, she will meet up with Carlos, and can decide whether or not to accept the rounds when he offers them as a gift. (x1)
  • However, in order to get Freeze Rounds during Clock Tower Cutscene, player must obtain the Flame Rounds in the tram before. Otherwise, the Flame Round will be given instead.

Alternately, Freeze Rounds can be crafted if supplies allow. This can be done by either combining Gun Powder C with another of the same and creating the rounds through use of the Reloading Tool, or by mixing Gun Powder C with Grenade Rounds.
